We can help you understand ACP and resources for people with a learning disability. Recognise cues, and facilitate and enable people to have conversations about their plans, hopes and choices for the future.

This learning event supports registered nurses & senior healthcare assistants who double-check pumps to confidently set up and manage pumps, and understand commonly used medication that assists symptom management in palliative care.

Learn how to identify and assess frailty and frailty syndromes. Consider appropriate prescribing and de-prescribing for people at end of life.

Gain deeper insight into advanced Parkinson’s disease and the complexities of end-of-life care. This session explores symptom management, medication use and side effects, and highlights the support systems available to patients and caregivers.

This nationally benchmarked 2 day course will prepare you to practice and develop ways of handling situations you find most difficult, e.g. breaking bad news, responding to anger and uncertainty. The small class size and expert facilitation assures high quality learning and support.
